We’d like to give a Shout Out to our Cross Country team. They competed in the State meet yesterday in Clinton at Choctaw Trails. The results were as follows:
Our girls team placed 6th in the 5K. The team consisted of Lexie Arnold, Lena Cole, Olivia Cook, Abby Goldberg, Hannah Loden, Elizabeth Rowland.
The top 5 runners were:
Lena Cole – 23:25.83
Olivia Cook – 23:57-62
Abby Goldberg – 24:34
Lexie Arnold – 24:31.11
Hannah Loden – 24:37
Our boys team placed 5th in the 5K. The team consisted of Colton Adams, Chris Atkinson, Blake Anderson, Ian Fitzgerald, Ty Fitzgerald, Luke Patrick, Drew Singletary, Jaydon Knott, Will Merritte, Evan Atkinson.
The top 5 runners were:
Chris Atkinson placed 3rd in the 5K with a personal best of 17:38. He is the first runner at PPCA to become All State in Cross Country. His time gets him into the Meet of Champions in November!!!
Blake Anderson placed 18th with a time of 20:33.67
